BBQ Pork & Mac

Ingredients

1 pkg boxed Mac & cheese (pasta and cheese powder divided in 1/2)
1 1/2 tbsp instant dry whole milk
1 BBQ pulled pork pouch
BBQ condiment packet
Crispy Dillies (to top pasta with)

Cooking Instructions

  • Boil 2.5 cups of water
  • Add pasta and cook for 6-7 minutes
  • Once pasta is cooked, save 1/4 cup of boiling pasta water and drain the rest
  • Add boiling water to dry milk and mix
  • Add milk, cheese powder, BBQ pulled pork to pasta and BBQ packet to pasta
  • Stir until completely mixed and top with Crispy Dillies
  • Enjoy!

Trail Strawberry Shortcake

Ingredients

1 Twinkie
1 oz pkg of freeze-dried strawberries
1 honey packet
2-3 oz water
1 tbsp chopped nuts (to top dessert with)

Cooking Instructions

  • Break up Twinkie into smaller pieces and set aside
  • In stove, add water, strawberries and honey and cook on low, mixing until it forms a jelly/jam consistency or until strawberries have been fully rehydrated
  • Add rehydrated strawberries on top of Twinkie pieces
  • Top with chopped nuts
  • Enjoy!

Trail Pizza

Ingredients

2 tortillas
2 packets of string cheese
10 slices of salami
Pizza sauce

Instructions

  • Lay out a tortilla
  • Spread pizza sauce on tortilla (more sauce if you like it saucy)
  • Add 5 slices of salami
  • Break up string cheese and add on top of salami
  • Fold up tortilla and enjoy
  • No cooking required!
  • This recipe makes 2 pizzas!!

Walking Tamale Bowl

Ingredients

1 Walking Tamale (any flavor)
1 Starkist Beef Creations (Taco Style)
1 serving of Fritos
1 taco sauce packet

Instructions

  • Break up Walking Tamale into a bowl or cup
  • Add Fritos and beef such on top of Walking Tamale pieces
  • Top with taco sauce
  • No cooking required!
  • Enjoy!
